Wizardom is the creative moniker of Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Giuliano Avedikian — an artist whose music fuses synth-pop, electronic and conscious music with emotionally honest, uplifting lyrics. His work explores themes of self-expression, transformation and authenticity, born from a personal journey of overcoming shyness and reclaiming his voice later in life.

 

Originally trained in acting, saxophone and voice at William Bates Performing Arts School, Giuliano brought a storyteller's instinct to his music — drawing on influences as diverse as Empire of the Sun, Midnight Oil, Muse, Coldplay, Icehouse and INXS, with a particular love of 80s music that continues to shape his retro-inspired yet forward-looking sound. In the years that followed, he immersed himself in musical theatre, choirs, open mics, singing schools and music courses, quietly building the foundation for what would become Wizardom.

 

With over 20 years of songwriting behind him, Giuliano conceived the Wizardom character and world in 2017/2018 — a creative alter ego that would bring together his love of music, storytelling and self-expression. He made his first major appearance as Wizardom with a one-person show titled Ageless in December 2019, before releasing his debut single Naked in 2021 as the music industry reopened. Further singles I'm Different and Jigsaw Heart followed, culminating in the release of his debut album Synthcronicity in 2023 — launched with a one-time-only full-length concert, Synthcronicity: Album Transmission — closing a major creative chapter.

 

Now entering a bold new era, Giuliano released Unique Soul and So Divine in 2025, before returning to the stage and releasing his third single New Renaissance in May 2026. The title track of his forthcoming second album, New Renaissance is a concept that spans music, live performance and a book in progress — marking his most ambitious and personal work yet.
